A visit to Confucius Hometown
Summer camp in Shandong, China
China, one of the world's greatest civilizations, has a history
of more than 5000 years. People from around the world have been
enthralled and enticed by the mystique of this unique culture. A
visit to Ji Nan—Confucius Home town is an opportunity to experience
the cultural diversity and grandeur of the world’s most populous
country.
This summer camp program is not only an academic in-class learning
experience but also a multi-city travel course. The program is a
perfect balance between study and travel. While it is necessary
to learn Chinese in a classroom setting, this summer camp program
helps you apply it to the everyday environment in China.
Students start off their journey by a visit in Beijing. Beijing
is considered the nation's political, economic, cultural and educational
center as well as being the heart for international trade and communications.
Therefore, Beijing serves as the optimal environment for the study
of Mandarin Chinese. During the 3 days in Beijing, students will
tour the famous and historical sights in or surrounding Beijing(Great
Wall, Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City etc)
